Magnatone Slash 100 Watt Head
The Monstrous Magnatone Slash Signature 100 Watt amp head has been developed and created with Slash to give you his distinctive and iconic tone. Based upon the Magnatone Super Fifty-Nine m-80 that Slash used on Guns ‘N’ Roses’ 2023 tour, the SL-100 utilises the same headroom, beefy gain, and overall incredible tone of the M-80.
British Tone Circuit and Tubes
Loaded with four El-34 tubes that deliver a crisp and crunchy headroom that Slash is synonymous for, as well as four 12AX7/EC83 tubes that give you two distinct gain modes allowing you to select between Hi and Lo settings for a versatile sonic experience.
Hi/Lo Gain
The Hi gain setting has been designed to give you a gushing gain pre-amp style that harkens back to Slash’s famous and dynamic ‘80s sound that has been optimised to suit humbuckers for a beefy, yet clear tone. By adjusting the Treble control, you can alter the level of clarity without being too harsh, or muddying your overall tone, boosting the of your guitar’s voice.
The Lo gain setting emulates the vintage Super Lead from the ‘60s that has been modified to give you controlled highs and invigorating lows to cope with the demands of modern playing. Producing plenty of crunchy in the mid-tone, the low gain mode can be controlled to give you sweet depth in sonic variety. By rolling off the Volume control, you can easily achieve a clean tone for dynamic and satisfying tones that enable flexibility whether you’re playing through humbuckers or single coils.
Dailing in Controlled Tones
With a simple and easy-to-navigate control panel, the SL-100 consists of a four-panel EQ: Treble, Middle, Bass, and Prescence. Producing 100 watts of power, this thing is meant to be played as Slash intended – so very loud. By altering the EQ, you can manage every inch of your tone, tweaking it to give you plenty of headroom no matter the volume, to give you Slash’s iconic tones, with plenty of versatility to harness your own voice.
Magnatone Slash 4x12 Cab
The Slash 4x12 speaker cabinet is the perfect pairing for the Magnatone SL-100. At the beating heart of this signature cab are four whopping Celestion Vintage 30 speakers that have been chosen by Slash himself. The Celestion speakers offer a warm, smooth, and creamy tone with a crunchy mid-range that provides just enough bite.
Constructed of Baltic Birch, the SL-412 cabinet features premium build quality that has been hand built for precise joints and careful craftsmanship. Pair perfectly with the matching Magnatone SL-100 head for a beastly sonic attack.
