Vive les Notes Vol. 2 - Student - DE WOLF Koen

Vive les Notes is a musical training course based on the child's emotional world.
All the musical subjects are approached progressively in four volumes: one volume per school year. "The author, a renowned composer whose work is known throughout the world, is gifted with a great sense of pedagogy and has himself taught for several years.
Based on this experience, he has created Vive les notes around 400 small original compositions, of a great diversity of style, punctuated with humorous winks."

Each lesson contains its own musical-pedagogical value. Tessitura deviations as well as breathing or harmony difficulties are carefully avoided. The author seeks to provide a direct experience of music: instead of being subjected to notes that have no meaning for him, the student is put in a position to "make music" himself from the first moment. All lessons include an easy piano accompaniment, teacher's score (bilingual manual: Dutch / French) adapted to the musical experience.

Each volume can be completed with a workbook, these workbooks, one per school year, contain exercises of all kinds (questions, writing exercises, exercises to complete, etc...) that correspond to each lesson of each volume. Other pages are also provided for melodic and rhythmic dictations.
