This multi-scale bass is set to stun, thanks to its fast wenge neck; however, the trio of onboard Dingwall-designed PT pickups steals the show time and time again. When their searing, punchy tone is combined with the Quad-Tone pickup selector, these pickups are unchained to achieve a massive range of tones that can go from heavy metal to punchy rock ballads.

Dingwall’s multi-scale, fanned fret layout is the perfect example of this player-centric design — effectively making for ultra-fast grooves while lessening fatigue and promoting correct hand positioning. The body of the D-Roc is carved from khaya, a type of African mahogany, while its neck boasts a robust wenge construction topped with an ebony fingerboard. Moreover, Dingwall sought the perfect body design and strap pin locations to prevent dreaded neck dive. Lastly, Hipshot Ultralite tuners and a phenolic nut ensure supreme tuning stability wherever your low-frequency life takes you.
