The Dingwall D-Roc is arguably one of the coolest and most striking bass guitars on the market. For this limited edition, produced in a very small quantity, the D-Roc Standard is available in a spectacular Gold Matte finish that gives this distinctive bass an even more impressive look.

Its inspiration is unmistakable: while many brands have created remakes or interpretations of the iconic Firebird bass, Dingwall has successfully turned the concept into a thoroughly modern 2.0 version. The body and headstock contours have been refined, while the unmistakable silhouette is combined with Dingwall's signature 3-pickup configuration and multiscale fingerboard.

The D-Roc is particularly straightforward by Dingwall standards. It features a passive volume and tone control, together with a 4-way pickup selector offering bridge, bridge + middle in parallel, middle, and all three pickups combined. The mahogany body is paired with a 3-piece maple neck and Pau Ferro fingerboard.

Despite its substantial body shape, the D-Roc is remarkably lightweight. Its 34"–37" multiscale provides excellent string tension and definition, while the three passive FD-3N pickups deliver a powerful, full and exceptionally tight tone. A true rock bass with plenty of character – what you see is what you get, with a serious dose of attitude.
