The Epiphone Slash J-45 November Burst is dedicated to none other than style icon Saul Hudson, aka "Slash". Designed and constructed according to the preferences of the exceptional guitarist (Guns'n'Roses and Velvet Revolver), the acoustic guitar comes in round-shoulder style with solid tone woods, adapted neck profile and L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system. This allows songs such as "Knockin' on Heavens Door," "Don't Cry," "Patience" and many more to be performed authentically and in style. In addition, the instrument comes with a "Skull and Bones" logo on the back of the headstock and a sturdy case.

Construction and woods

In order for the round-shoulder model to develop a powerful sound, the top is made of Sitka spruce and the body is made of mahogany. Therefore, the individual tones unfold quickly and cover a wide area and are pronounced in all frequencies in a clear and defined way. The mahogany neck has a Rounded-Custom-Slash-Profile, which guarantees a comfortable playability in all 20 frets, which are set into an Indian Laurel fingerboard.

Hardware and Design

Thanks to a compensated bridge inlay and a narrow 43 mm nut made of GraphTech TUSQ, the acoustic guitar intonates cleanly over the entire 628 mm scale length, while nickel-plated Grover Rotomatic tuners allow for easy and precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. The individual parts of the body are bordered by fine multi-ply bindings, which contrast nicely with the eye-catching November Burst finish. The fretboard is marked with subtle mother-of-pearl dot inlays that perfectly match the slash signature trussrod cover.
