As pickup for the AZ47P1QM electric guitar Ibanez chooses three DiMarzio pickups in the flexible HSH setup, which skillfully covers all sound colors between fusion, rock and metal. While the DiMarzio The Tone Zone high-output humbucker at the bridge makes the guitar amp sweat and elicits first-class distortion sounds with accurate representation of every note, the DiMarzio Air Norton at the neck convinces with a warm, yet transparent sound that is equally suitable for sparkling cleans and singing Overdrive. In middle position, a DiMarzio True Velvet single coil also contributes classic bell-like sounds. The pickups of the electric guitar are controlled via a 5-way circuit with general volume and tone controls.
