Product details

TORRES A (43), Swiss moon spruce & granadillo, 7 bar fan bracing

Built in memory of Antonio de Torres, the greatest guitar builder that ever lived. The original model SE43 from 1883 was carefully examined and replicated with some modern touches like the symmetrical 12 hole bridge. The original guitar already has a 650 mm scale length, making it a very modern guitar for its time. This is the model that influenced many famous guitar builders like Manuel Ramirez. This is the more economical version. The TOR-1A43 is closest to the original. On special order, this guitar can be made with a 640 mm scale length as well.
