Mesa Boogie's new amplifier, the Mark IIC++, is available in a limited edition of 200 units. It is a reproduction of the modified Mark IIC+ used by Metallica in the studio. These modifications provide less harsh saturation and more midrange focus. The name ‘Crunch Berries’ comes from a sticker that James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett had placed on their respective amplifiers.
