Even the color indicates the direction in which this pedal is headed: The MXR Custom Shop GT-OD 193 is a hot-sounding overdrive that produces harmonic distortion and for sustain rich sounds with little discoloration. Like all "green" overdrives, it is also well suited for little gain with higher volume; Thus also a good choice as a booster.
