The CC-22 by Salvador Cortez, with its solid top and easy playability, is an ideal first guitar and for that reason also recommended by many teachers in their incipient adepts. The CC-22 has a round, warm sound and a very neat and durable finish.

The CC-22 is the category of classical guitars, with nylon strings that are easier to play for beginning guitarists than the steel strings of western guitars. Playability is highly increased by the presence of an adjustable truss rod.
