This MAJ200XFM signature model from Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci features an ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel jumbo medium frets. The pickups have also been significantly upgraded. This way, you get the same DiMarzio LiquiFire / Crunch Lab pairing that Petrucci uses on his Music Man. The result is a high end electric guitar with an excellent price/performance ratio. MAJ270XFM: comfortable and elegant
The Sterling by Music Man MAJ200XFM is made from a mahogany body with a flame maple top finished in Purple. In addition, a 3-piece mahogany glued neck was chosen and constructed to be playable throughout. The floating 2-point tremolo and locking tuners emphasize that this is a modern instrument for the guitarist who demands a lot from his guitar. There's even a 12dB volume boost when you need to break through the mix.
