The Classic Dry Dry Aluminium Snare Drum LAL1455 from the Tama S.L.L.P. series produces a classic sound reminiscent of the aluminium snare drums of yesteryear. With its seamless shell and peripheral cord, it also offers a classic look on the outside. Other features such as 8-height steel hoops and 20 spirals also aim to achieve a timeless and universally usable sound, which is perfectly suited to every conceivable style of music.

Seamless shell

The 14‘ x 5.5’ shell of the S.L.P.P. Classic Dry Aluminium Snare Drum is made of aluminium with a wall thickness of 1.2 mm and does not require any seams. The central peripheral fold gives the shell more stability and increases the complexity of the sound character. The batter head is from Evans' G1 series and is coated in white. It is tuned with 2.3 mm Mighty Hoop steel tension hoops with an 8-hole pattern, and the tension lugs are from the Superstar series.
