The TAYLOR 417e-R Folk Guitar is a Grand Pacific / Dreadnought Round Shoulder with a solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, Ebony fingerboard and V-Class bracing, which represents a significant evolution in acoustic guitar making.
The innovative bracing by master luthier Andy Powers gives the instrument increased projection, remarkable tonal balance, clearly improved intonation and incredible sustain.
It's a Dreadnought Round Shoulder guitar that's as pleasing to listen to as it is to play, warm and dynamic, with powerful, defined lows and clear, musical mids and highs.
Taylor Expression System 2 Preamp: In order to faithfully reproduce the amplitude and fundamental character of their acoustics, it took Taylor Guitars several years to develop the Expression System (ES) 2.
With special piezo sensors and a significantly redesigned circuit, the Expression System 2 offers even more responsiveness, dynamics, and warmth.
