Fully solid acoustic guitar in Grand Concert size including Aerocase

The Taylor American Dream AD22e is one of the basic models of the Taylor guitars manufactured in the USA. These are made of solid tonewoods and thus produce a powerful and balanced sound. Due to its shape the compact Grand-Concert is perfectly suited for Pickings and light strumming and convinces with a very mid-range and warm tone. In addition, the flat neck is easy and comfortable to grip in all 20 frets, so that even complicated fingerings can be mastered comfortably. Thanks to Taylor's own 2 Expression System , the instrument is stage-ready and produces a very natural sound even when amplified. A sturdy Taylor Aerocase is included in delivery.

Construction and woods

Since the construction consists of a mahogany top on a body made of sapele, the acoustic guitar produces a very soothing sound that is especially pronounced in the midrange frequencies. The light construction and the V-Class-Bracing allow a fast response as well as a long lasting and clean sound. Therefore, especially Pickings come into their own. The flat mahogany neck is equipped with a eucalyptus fingerboard.

Hardware and design

Both the bridge inlay and the nut are made of GraphTech TUSQ, so that the AD22e intonates cleanly on the whole scale length of 632 mm. The headstock is equipped with solid die-cast tuners, which guarantee an easy tuning of the 6 steel strings and can be operated obligingly. Visually, the rather simple instrument is enhanced by dot inlays, a single ring soundhole rosette and a tortoise pickguard.
